CLIL Essentials (Content and Language Integrated Learning)

20 workshops of 2 hours 

Total: 40 hours

 For non- English teachers who need to teach their subject in English language, i.e. for Geography or Maths teachers.

English for teaching

Content Length Suitability
  • English and teacher training
  • Helps to improve the level of English of the trainees, their ability to use English in class themselves, and their ability to get students using English.

Course divided into 18 units of approximately 7 hours

 

Total 120hrs

For English teachers.

Course available at three different levels depending on English level of the teachers:

A2 – B1, B1 - B2, B2 – C1

CiPELT (Certificate in Primary English Language Teaching)

Content  Length Suitability

Through the course teachers will:

• expand knowledge of primary methodology and using resources

• focus on primary themes and topics

• observe and try methods and resources

• develop reflection and action planning skills

• relate course ideas to their own context.

Ten 3 hour workshops

 

30 hours, plus assignments

For KG – cycle 1,2 English teachers

Minimum English level of teachers A2.

CiSELT (Certificate in Secondary English Language Teaching)

Content Length Suitability

Through the course teachers:

  • develop key and advanced teaching skills
  • make their teaching learner-centred
  • develop a more reflective approach
  • understand better the learning process.
 48 hours, plus assignments For secondary English teachers.
